Spicy Mango Chutney Sauce
- 1 can (800 g) Herdez Sliced Mangos, drained
- 2 tablespoons Herdez Whole Chilpotle Peppers
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 24 g butter
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper crushed flakes
Directions
Makes 2 cups
- In a food processor blend the Herdez Sliced Mangos, Herdez Whole Chilpotle Peppers, cider vinegar and Dijon mustard.
- Melt butter in a medium pan.
- Add the onion and saute until golden.
- Stir in the garlic for 1 minute.
- Whisk in the mango and chilpotle sauce and bring to a boil.
- Simmer and reduce the mixture, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with pepper flakes. Serve with grilled shrimp or pork ribs.
